FILM & TELEVISION INSTITUTE OF INDIA (FTII), PUNE

Last date for submission of forms is april 21, 2008

SUBJECT: The courses currently available at FTII are broadly divided into regular courses and short-term courses. For details of the short-term courses, check the website. The regular courses, for which there is an entrance examination, are three-year diploma courses in film and television with specialisation in direction, cinematography, editing, audiography, direction and one-year certificate courses in television with specialisation in cinematography, editing, audiography and acting.

ELIGIBILITY: A bachelors degree in any discipline is mandatory. In addition, for the courses in audiography, it is necessary for the candidates to have passed physics at the Plus Two level.

PARTICULARS: The prospectus containing application forms may be obtained on request along with demand draft of Rs 910 drawn on any nationalised bank in favour of Accounts Officer, Film & Television Institute of India and payable at Pune. The prospectus may also be obtained personally from the tutorial section / information and facilitation counter, Film & Television Institute of India, after March 20 at a cost of Rs 800. Those applying online will have to send a demand draft of Rs 1,610 drawn on any nationalised bank in favour of Accounts Officer, FTII, Pune.
