SUBJECT: The Veterinary Council of India invites applications for the All India Pre-veterinary Test 2008 for taking admission to the BVSc & AH course for five and a half years, which also includes six months of internship.

ELIGIBILITY: Candidates applying for the course must have completed his / her Plus Two (PCB & English, 50 per cent). Those with a BSc (physics / chemistry / biology [botany / zoology]) are also eligible.The candidate must be at least 17 years of age in order to apply for the course.

PARTICULARS: Application forms can be obtained by sending a demand draft of Rs 750 (Rs 350 for SC / ST) drawn on any scheduled bank favouring the Veterinary Council of India Examination Fund, payable at New Delhi, to the Controller of Examination at the address mentioned below, before February 15, 2008. A candidate must enclose two plain paper slips with complete address (in block letters) and pin code. SUBJECT: Srishti School of Art, Design & Technology, Bangalore, invites applications for its two-year programme in foundation studies, a two-and-a-half-year professional diploma programme and an advanced diploma programme.

ELIGIBILITY: Candidates applying for the two-year programme in foundation studies must have completed Plus Two; for the two-and-a-half-year professional diploma programme candidates must have a UG education in design / fine / applied art / architecture and related fields (minimum two years) or relevant work experience; for the advanced diploma programme, applicants need a bachelors degree in technology, computing, fine or applied arts, music, design, architecture, film, animation or education.

SUBJECT: The Vellore Institute of Technology invites applications for the Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2008 for admission to its BTech (bioinformatics / bio-medical / biotechnology / chemical / civil / computer science & engineering / electronics & electrical / electronics & communication / electronics & instrumentation / information technology / mechanical / mechanical & energy engineering) courses.

ELIGIBILITY: Candidates applying for a course in biotechnology & bioinformatics need to have scored 60 per cent in physics, chemistry and biology in Plus Two. For all the other courses, candidates must have 60 per cent in physics, chemistry and maths.
